Improvisation is of second nature to the Lao musician and singer...as for a Jazzman. Unwritten formulae and themes, committed to memory, are recalled to construct always renewed creations. Here the waters of the Mekong, the beauty of the Lao countryside and memories of far away loves inspire the musicians to unimaginated harmonies and pull their instruments to sublime heights.

During the creation of this music, each instrument expresses itself and lends its own particular voice to the overall work. There is no post-addition of instruments. All pieces have been recorded directly with the two artists, so there is always the same depth of two instruments interweaving together, occasionally amplified with a voice.
